How Jessica Simpson Slimmed and Toned Her Legs

Men all over the world swoon over the gorgeous Jessica Simpson, who looks just as hot as she was before she gave birth to her two children. But maintaining a body like hers is not something you achieve in a couple of weeks. Recently, you may have seen her flaunting her toned and slimmed legs, leaving everyone wondering how she manages to keep herself so fit.

The answer lies in the workout designed by her trainer, Harley Pasternak, who openly shares her exercise routines for everyone to benefit. The Jessica Simpson workout does not include long hours of strenuous exercises. In fact, it is more about getting your workout done quickly. It basically involves doing a few minutes of cardio and then a few targeted body exercises, which keep changing with each day and thereby allow targeted muscles to be worked on while others take a break.

How to Get Toned Legs Like Jessica Simpson Has

Let’s see what trainer Harley Pasternak revealed about how Jessica Simpson acquired those lean and toned legs along with an amazingly toned body. Apart from a cardio workout five times a week and other exercises, this is what Jessica Simpson did to achieve her enviable legs. You can do the same.

Simply include more cycling, running, in-line skating, and stair climbing, and boost your exercise results with thigh and calf formations.

For shaping up hamstrings, do the following:

  • Stretch out face-up on the floor with your palms down, arms at your sides, and your calves on a stability ball.
  • Utilize your abs and roll the ball toward the body by lifting hips and using your heels.
  • Once you get your heels on top of the ball, gradually roll back to start and then lower your body to the floor.
  • For strengthening your hamstrings to achieve maximum results, do 20 repetitions and three sets of this workout.

When not in the gym, Harley would make sure his client did a lot of walking. He suggested that she work out each day with a starting goal of 4,000 steps. In just a matter of a few weeks, she was able to cover 10,000 steps daily.

Being the Weight Watchers spokeswoman, Jessica Simpson put in tremendous hard work to attain those sexy legs. Since the birth of her two children, she has been following the guidelines laid down by her trainer, including a healthy eating plan, and has reportedly shed almost 60 to 70 pounds of her baby weight.
