How Paleo Helped Pete Evans Look Younger

Pete Evans is a famous Australian chef who strongly supports the paleo diet that follows what humans are thought to have consumed during the Paleolithic era. It promotes eating poultry, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and meat and shuns legumes, grains, and dairy products. Pete Evans shines bright with good health and a zest for life. He is lean with sparkling blue eyes, looking like a teenager. According to Pete Evans, following the paleo lifestyle has improved the quality of his life and enhanced his energy. Evans is a high-profile champion of the paleo diet. He asserts the paleo diet is the most natural way of eating healthy.

The paleo lifestyle was something Pete Evans especially looked into after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. He was absolutely terrified to be sitting in a rheumatologist’s office at just 25 years of age. The doctor’s diagnosis made him look at what he was eating. Lifetime medication was not an option for him, and he needed preventive action to preclude physical symptoms. Paleo helped Pete Evans to fight his autoimmune disease and improve his overall health and appearance.

Supporters of the paleo diet claim that the lifestyle offers optimal health and can reduce the risk of a number of ailments, from type-2 diabetes, autism, and irritable bowel syndrome to Alzheimer’s. This claim has gained massive criticism from health practitioners all over the world. According to the Dietitians Association of Australia, the paleo diet can be potentially dangerous. The World Health Organization says a diet low in carbohydrates can lead to constipation and poor brain function, whereas a diet high in meat can also cause heart disease.

However, paleo helped Pete Evans looks younger by leading him to ditch sugar and over-processed dairy while practicing kinesiology, which promotes well-being by screening the muscles and energy. Evans describes himself as a caveman or a stone man. Paleo is about eating small amounts of meat and large amounts of vegetables. Therefore, the paleo diet is cheap, and people adopting this way of life become more productive and save money.

Paleo helped Pete Evans embrace 100-percent natural, fodder-fed and refined meats, raw seafood from uncontaminated waters, free-range poultry and hormone and antibiotics free pork, biologically grown produce, and nuts as healthy sources of natural fat.

Going Paleo is Pete Evans’ new book, to be released in March 2015. Pete Evan has written about the diseases that paleo can prevent. Well, just looking at Pete Evans is evidence enough that the paleo diet works!
